May 14, 2015 - Airsofting Fun

When there's nothing else to do you can always get out the airsoft guns and set up some targets. Sawyer had a good time shooting cans today.

May 13, 2015 - Happy Birthday to Me!

Today I turned 36, officially closer to 40 than 30 now....yikes!  But it was a very nice day.  I got flowers delivered to me at work and I was taken out for lunch and supper.  Another day of no cooking!  Amazing!  Sawyer was the only kid with baseball tonight also, I'm not sure the last birthday I've had that wasn't spent at the baseball field.  We went out to Fugi for supper and the kids loved it!  All in all, a pretty great day!

May 12, 2015 - A Little Luck for Bryce

We went to the playground at Mt. Simon today before Noah's game and Bryce found a 4-leaf clover!  He was pretty excited.  It's not real often you find one of these guys!

May 11, 2015 - Toothless

Sawyer has had a wiggly tooth now for awhile.  He's slowly been working on getting it looser and today was the day that it finally fell out.  We've been trying to convince him to let Dan pull it but he hasn't seemed to think that's a good idea.  He was wiggling it in the car and it just kind of fell out into his hand.  He laughed and thought it was pretty cool.  This was the least traumatic first tooth loss ever!  And it matches up perfectly with the tooth he had pulled a few years ago!  He's excited to fit a straw in the gap.

May 10, 2015 - Mother's Day

The kids and Dan started the day off by making me breakfast before church. Always a nice treat.  After church we headed out to eat at Bug Eyed Betty's.  I always welcome a day of no cooking and this is my day to have that.  I can't believe how much God has blessed me though.  Four great, healthy kids who are turning into some really neat people.  And a pretty wonderful husband too.

May 9, 2015 - Day Full of Fun

We had quite a few things going on today.  In the early afternoon we headed downtown for the Doll and Pet Parade.  The float turned out great and the weather was perfect for a parade.  We handed out a bunch of VBS flyers and candy.  Dan had to help the mechanism of the float turn the musical notes but all in all a success.
After we got back, Lydia stopped over for a bit.  She recently got a Mustang convertible and the kids have been itching to have a ride in it.  She drove it hear for Banquet and was coming over to wash it so she took me and the kids for rides.  It was great!  The perfect day to drive down a country ride in a convertible!
To end the day we had the 8th grade class over for an outdoor movie.  They watched Back to the Future and ate snacks.  From the sounds of things I think everyone had a good time. Dan and I hung out by the fire during the movie.  I nice relaxing end to a fun day.

May 8, 2015 - Float Prep

Tomorrow is the Doll and Pet Parade which Messiah has a float in so Dan and Jason were on a mission to get the float contraption done tonight.  They had a crazy idea to have notes moving up and down with a device that was moved by the tire of the trailer.  Jason had it sketched out and Dan helped him put it together.  Here's hoping it works.  While they were doing that Rebecca and I were getting the candy ready and just being goofy in general.  Who would guess?
