May 9, 2015 - Day Full of Fun

We had quite a few things going on today.  In the early afternoon we headed downtown for the Doll and Pet Parade.  The float turned out great and the weather was perfect for a parade.  We handed out a bunch of VBS flyers and candy.  Dan had to help the mechanism of the float turn the musical notes but all in all a success.

After we got back, Lydia stopped over for a bit.  She recently got a Mustang convertible and the kids have been itching to have a ride in it.  She drove it hear for Banquet and was coming over to wash it so she took me and the kids for rides.  It was great!  The perfect day to drive down a country ride in a convertible!

To end the day we had the 8th grade class over for an outdoor movie.  They watched Back to the Future and ate snacks.  From the sounds of things I think everyone had a good time. Dan and I hung out by the fire during the movie.  I nice relaxing end to a fun day.
