July 22, 2015 - Called Home to Heaven
My Grandma Gullerud was called home to heaven this week. She was so ready to be with Jesus, this was a blessing. She lived a good, long life and now she is enjoying eternal life in heaven which must be amazing. The funeral brought a lot of family together, some that I haven't seen in a long time. If only we didn't need a funeral to get us together.

July 21, 2015 - Dad Selfie
Some family was over tonight and we spent some time out on the deck just hanging out and talking. My Dad made himself a Coke Float which he thouroughly enjoyed and I thought it might be a good time to introduce my dad to the selfie. He had never taken one before and we had quite a few laughs trying to get a good one. Some people make fun of the selfie but I look at it as an opportunity to capture small moments in time. This moment I don't want to forget and I'm so happy I have the pictures to help me remember.

July 19, 2015 - Baseball and A Little Camper Cleaning
Today was the end of the Seymour Slam Tournament. Noah's team ended up taking 2nd place which was one of their best finishes for the season. There was some good competition at this one so it was nice to see them come together and do so well.
Sawyer also got to play in Seymour which was a pretty big deal for him. This was the first tournament he's been in and the coaches actually pitched to them! They didn't win a whole lot of games but they improved with each one. I think this group of boys will be ready for next year now! Sawyer got to wear the catcher's gear a few times and I couldn't get over how little he looked in it but he loved it because he was just like his big brothers!
And in between all these games we found a little time to go home and get the camper ready for use. It was so dirty! The boys like getting on top of it and scrubbing it though and they do pretty good work. Now we are ready for some camping!

July 18, 2015 - Out for a Run
Some nights are just too nice to stay inside. Tonight was one of those nights. Sawyer and I were home alone and I thought it would be a good idea to get out and get some exercise since we didn't have to be at a ballfield. Sawyer rode his bike and I tried to keep up. It was perfect. I love Sawyer's bike helmet hair in the second picture! I guess I wasn't the only one sweating.

July 17, 2015 - My Little Old Man
Sawyer LOVES his blanket. I think he would take it everywhere he went if I let him. I have to give credit to Auntie Amy for crocheting such an awesome blanket for him when he was born. He will love this thing until it falls apart!

July 16, 2015 - Computer Purchased
Noah made his second large purchase today, he bought his very own laptop. He was pretty proud of this one too. He did a lot of shopping around before he finally found the exact computer he wanted. It was a little painful for him to count out all that money but I think he will enjoy having his own computer.

July 15, 2015 - Lazy Afternoons at the Pool
We spent the afternoon with a couple other families at the pool. It turns out that four families adds up to a whole lot of kids!

July 14, 2015 - What Else Besides More Baseball??
Another night, another baseball game, another field. This time we ventured to Seymour for Ethan's game. It was a beautiful night spent with some pretty great guys.

July 13, 2015 - Push-ups and Bubbles
At our house, if you burp at the table you get to do some pushups. If you say excuse me it's not quite as many. If you fart at the table, that's really bad news for your arms. Tonight, Dan burped at the table, while he did look quite sheepish and he said excuse me, he still got to do some pushups. What's fair is fair afterall! To his credit, this doesn't happen real often.
Afterwards, the kids had some fun with dishes and the bubbles.

July 12, 2015 - The Norske Nook
While we were in Sun Prairie, Dan and Ethan were in Bloomer for a tournament. Between games they went with Pascals to the Norske Nook for lunch, a truly Norwegian experience for these mostly German guys.

July 11, 2015 - My Monkies Jumping on the Bed
One great thing about staying in hotels is jumping from bed to bed. This isn't something I let the boys do at home. I'm not really sure why I let them do it at hotels but they love it and it does look like fun. Bryce and Sawyer got into it this weekend in Sun Prairie. I couldn't get a clear picture of them but I think this still shows how much fun they were having.

July 10, 2015 - Baseball in Sun Prairie
Noah, Bryce, Sawyer and I headed down to Sun Prairie this weekend for a baseball tournament. Noah's team got to play on turf fields again, which usually takes some getting used to. The ball comes off of turf so much differently than dirt or grass. Noah's team didn't win very many games but I think everyone had a good time playing and hanging out between and after the games.

July 9, 2015 - God's Beautiful Creation
We never seem to lack beautiful sunsets here. Sometimes just sitting and watching them is all that's needed to finish off a long day. Such a wonderful reminder of God's amazing creation!

July 8, 2015 - Mini Golfing
The kids and I went mini golfing today at Action City. It's always an experience. Ethan was sporting the long golf socks today and working it on the green.

July 7, 2015 - Dishes Helper
I guess putting dishes away is more fun when you can stand on the counter to do it! Whatever it takes!

July 6, 2015 - Belly Flops
Sawyer has found a new love for the belly flop this summer. When we are at a pool this is one of his favorite things to do. Apparently it doesn't hurt because he does it over and over and over! Crazy kid.
